Matthew Stubenberg, Esq.

Matthew Stubenberg graduated from University of Maryland, School of Law in 2013. Matthew has created several web scrapers and the resulting data has been used to win class action law suits, find houses with high water bills, and expunge criminal records. He has won several awards including the ABA's On the Rise Top 40 Young Lawyers and the Maryland Bar Foundation's award for The Advancement of the Rights of the Disadvantaged. Matthew is currently the IT Director and a staff attorney at the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service (MVLS) and continues to strive to merge technology and the law for the benefit of low income individuals.


Erin J. Farley, Ph.D.

Erin J. Farley joined the JRSA staff in May 2015 as a Research Associate working on the Pre-Trial Justice Institute Project. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech and her Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of Delaware. Prior to working at JRSA Dr. Farley was a Senior Research Associate at the Center for Court Innovation in NYC where she worked on a number of projects including an evaluation of Intelligence Driven Prosecution in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, the Manhattan Mental Health Court, and a randomized trial of an evidence-based assessment protocol in New York City drug courts. She has co-authored reports on indigent defense reforms in Brooklyn, as well as the Adolescent Diversion Program, Judicial Diversion, Improving Courtroom Communication, and the Bronx Family Treatment Court.
