Reading IBRS Data into Access

The following documentation walks users through the process of using ACCESS to analyze state-level IBRS data.

The first document takes a step-by-step approach to reading IBR data into ACCESS. This program assumes that the data are in the predefined format required for reporting to the FBI. After familiarizing yourself with the steps, download the executable program to run on your own computer. Be sure to choose the version of ACCESS you are planning to use.
